In 1996, The Dames & Moore Group (one of the largest engineering firms in the world) and Brookhill formed an equal joint venture to form Dames & Moore/Brookhill. With financing provided by an affiliate of Credit Suisse First Boston we acquired, remediated, redeveloped and sold almost 200 million dollars of former environmentally contaminated properties. As a result of an acquisition of The Dames & Moore Group by the URS Corporation several years ago, Brookhill acquired Dames & Moore's interest in the joint venture. Brookhill continues to acquire, remediate and redevelop brownfield properties throughout the country.

It enables property owners to sell their assets to Brookhill without risk of subsequent liability. We take total financial responsibility for environmental site conditions.
